The Ireland Men's Under-15s lost 3-1 to Peru in their Quarter-Final match in the 2026 FIFA Men's Under-15 World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Following back-to-back games against Brazil and Northern Ireland, the Boys in Green went into their fifth day of action in this tournament looking for a fifth win.

A stinging shot from Bray Wanderers midfielder Ó’Snodaigh on four minutes showed that Ireland wanted to seize control of the game from early on, but it was Peru who struck first.

Peru opened the scoring on five minutes with a neat finish but Ireland levelled on 19 minutes when Ó’Snodaigh blasted in from close range.

Two second-half goals, a low drive on 31 minutes and a back-post header on 41 minutes, saw Peru take the victory but this was a contest that was evenly matched throughout.

Ireland will feature again on Thursday, October 29th before finishing up at this tournament on Friday, October 30th.
