Football has grown into one of the most widely played and loved games in the country and this is due to the work undertaken by volunteers who play an invaluable role in recreational and competitive football at all levels.
The FAI Club Mark is three tiered accreditation award based on best practice in the governance, management and administration of a football club. Clubs start their journey at Entry Level and can then progress to become a One Star and Two Star club. Each step challenges the club to implement policies and procedures in line with best practice.
Having a strong club development plan will help you be more sustainable, resilient and built to last.

The FAI Club Mark One Star is a Player Development Centre Award which runs from September to May. Clubs can fill out an expression of interest during 1st September to 1st November each year.
The FAI Club Mark Two Star is a Club Development Centre Award which runs from January to November. Clubs can fill out an expression of Interest during 1st November to 15th December each year.
The FAI Club Mark Three Star is a Club Development Centre Award which runs from January to November. Clubs can fill out an expression of Interest during 1st November to 15th December each year.
