Mar 25 2026
The 5.15pm kick-off in Tallaght Stadium is live on Virgin Media 2 and takes place ahead of the Men’s National Team Play-Off against Czechia.
Ireland will be looking to complete the double over Moldova following a 2-1 victory in Nispereni back in September.
They will have to do so without Shamrock Rovers’ Adam Brennan who has been ruled out of the qualifiers through injury. Lincoln City’s Oisin Gallagher (currently on-loan at Boston United) earns his first Under-21s call-up and replaces Brennan.

Quotes
Men’s Under-21 midfielder Jacob Devaney said: “There were a lot of positives to take from the England performance even though we didn’t get the result on the night. We had a meeting yesterday and we’re using the England game as something to take positives from but we know what we have to do and what we have work towards ahead of Moldova and Kazakhstan.”
Men’s Under-21 Head Coach Jim Crawford said: “We’ve been focusing on our own principles but the message to the squad has been regardless of the players in front of us from Moldova, it will be a tough game and it’s one the players will be prepared for and it’s one we look forward to.”
