The Republic of Ireland kick off the FA Four Nations Partially Sighted Tournament tonight when they take on England at 7.30pm. The tournament, hosted by England over three days, sees Ireland taking on England, Spain and VI League which is made up of the best partially sighted players from the English league.

Very little separates the four teams with the VI league select team narrowly losing to England recently by one goal to nil, while Spain are ranked third in the World ahead of Englands who are 4th and Ireland who are 5th.

Ireland coach Robert Moore said, "If we can get a result in the first game tonight against England we will do well in this competition. We have played them four times and we have won twice and lost twice so it will be a very even contest. The squad have being playing together and in a full time league for a while now so if we didn't get to the final of this tournament, we would be disappointed. I know the players have the capabilities and have certainly put in the preparation so hopefully it will play off."
