WU19s select squad for double header against Belgium

The Ireland Women's Under-19s will visit the official Training Centre of the Royal Belgian FA to take on Belgium in two International Friendlies.

Head Coach Dave Connell has selected 20 players for what will be the final warm-up games to prepare for their 2024-25 UEFA WU19 European Championship Round 1 Qualifiers in November, where they will face Bulgaria, Finland and Norway.

There are first call-ups for Sligo Rovers goalkeeper Amber Hardy and Wexford stopper Nicole Nix, Shelbourne full-back Lucy O'Rourke, Wexford centre-back Grace Fitzpatrick Ryan, Cork City left-back Kiera Sena, Bohemians midfielder Aoibhe Brennan, Manchester City ace Eve O'Carroll, Treaty United attacker Katie Lawlee and Shamrock Rovers forward Katie O'Reilly.

Ten members of the squad featured in last summer's UEFA WU19 European Championships in Lithuania and are still eligible for this forthcoming campaign.
