WU19 | Squad ready for Round 1 Qualifiers

The task of qualifying for back-to-back UEFA Women's Under-19 European Championships will begin for the Ireland Women's Under-19s in Bulgaria.

After competing in last summer's Finals tournament in Lithuania, the Girls in Green are now aiming to make it through to next year's main event in Poland. But first they must get through their Round 1 Qualifiers.

Head Coach Dave Connell has selected a strong squad for their games against Bulgaria (November 27th), Finland (November 30th) and Norway (December 3rd) in Group A3.

The aim will be to pick up positive results going into Round 2 and Connell has been able to call up two players (Katie Keane and Aoife Kelly) who are nominated for the Women's Under-19 International Player of the Year in the FAI International Awards.

After two recent International Friendlies away to Belgium, Ireland will be ready to go for these Round 1 games in Bulgaria.
