WU17s set for two International Friendly games

In preparation for their upcoming UEFA Women’s Under-17 European Championship qualifiers, the Ireland Women’s Under-17 squad will travel to Portugal for two International Friendly games.

The Girls in Green will meet South Korea on Friday, January 19 before facing Portugal on January 24 as part of a eight-day training camp just outside Lisbon.

Head Coach James Scott has issued first call-ups to six players in Della Cowper Gray, Keelin Dodd, Lucy Fitzgerald, Emily Fitzgerald, Ella Kelly and Anna Butler.

This camp, and the two games, come a month before the WU17s travel to Albania to take on the host nation as well as Israel in two crucial EURO qualifiers.
