WU17 | Squad confirmed for International Friendlies against Hungary

A trip to Spain for two International Friendlies is next up for the Ireland Women's Under-17s as they prepare for their UEFA WU17 European Championship Qualifiers.

Head Coach James Scott will be planning for the March showdowns with Lithuania and Faroe Islands, so these two games against Hungary in the Pinatar Arena will help with that process.

The 20-player squad selected includes two new call-ups in Manchester City midfielder Aoife Colbert Martin and Treaty United forward Ciara Breslin.

This will be the first outing for the WU17s in 2025 having played 13 games last year, where Anna Butler and Leah McGrath finished as joint top goalscorers with six goals each.
