WU17 | All set for EURO qualiifers in Lithuania

The Ireland Women’s Under-17s are set to face Lithuania and Faroe Islands in two UEFA WU17 European Championship Qualifiers.

Head Coach James Scott and his support staff recently brought the squad to Spain for two International Friendlies against Hungary, which will have aided their preparation.

Shelbourne mdifielder Aoife Sheridan and Arsenal defender Sophia Leonard return after missing their recent games and they will provide competition for places.

The Girls in Green will be aiming to seal promotion to League A for the next staging of the tournament and finishing top of Group B5 will achieve that.
