After opening their year with a trip to Portugal – where they recorded a 2-0 win over their hosts – the Girls in Green then hosted Switzerland in two International Friendlies in Dublin.
The first game with the Swiss ended in a 1-1 draw before Ireland edged a penalty shoot-out, while the second game was a 2-2 tie courtesy of goals from Keelin Donnelly Meehan and Lara Dallaghan.
Now they will travel to Finland for three more games as this group of players continue their development in international football. There is a first call-up for Bohemians defender Norah Pustay.
