The Ireland Men's Under-15s got off to a winning start in the 2026 FIFA Men's Under-15 World Cup with a 4-0 triumph over Montenegro.

The Boys in Green took the lead in this 8v8 formatted game through a fine finish from Shamrock Rovers defender Tom Casey after collecting a return pass from a break forward.

Another Shamrock Rovers player, Harry Rehill, got the next goal on 18 minutes when he collected a pass on the edge of the opposition's penalty area, spun and drilled a low shot into the back of the net.

In the second half (the games are played in two 20-minute periods), Waterford's Nathan Power netted after his powerful effort rebounded in off the Montenegro goalkeeper.

Power got his second goal of the game on 33 minutes with a superb left-footed finish from the left-hand side of the opposition box to seal the win.
