WNT sell out Finland game in record time

WNT sell out Finland game in record time

It took just 30 minutes for the Republic of Ireland Women's National Team to sell out Tallaght Stadium for their 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying game with Finland.

The penultimate game in Group A sees Vera Pauw's team go in search of a victory that would secure a Play-Off spot and the backing of a full stadium will surely help.

It is expected to be a record crowd for the team in Tallaght Stadium if it can surpass the 5,328 attendance set on October 8th, 2019 for the win over Ukraine.

A pre-sale was supplied to Ireland Season Ticket holders, while a special allocation was set aside for Grassroots Clubs and Schools.

Vera and the players are excited to play in front of a sold-out crowd and feed off the superb atmosphere that WNT supporters always create in Tallaght Stadium.
