Úna Henry appointed to FAI Board as an Independent Director

In a General Meeting, members of the General Assembly ratified the appointment of Úna Henry to the Board of the Football Association of Ireland (FAI).

Úna has spent five years on the FAI’s Audit, Risk, Compliance and Finance Committee, where she has brought a high level of expertise in financial oversight, risk management, corporate governance and project management.
 
With extensive experience working with companies such as Bank of Ireland, PWC and Deloitte, Úna has a track record of taking on leadership roles and bringing strategic focus to complex initiatives.
 
FAI President Paul Cooke said: “On behalf of the Association, I’d like to welcome Úna Henry to the FAI Board following her ratification. With Úna’s experience in finance, governance and leadership, we are further strengthening the Board to ensure that we continue to represent everyone in Irish football in the best possible way.”
