U21 | O'Neill and Carty called into squad

Fulham’s Ollie O’Neill and St. Patrick’s Athletic’s Conor Carty have been called-up to the Ireland Under-21s squad ahead of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifier against Latvia this Friday.

O’Neill replaces Celtic’s Rocco Vata who has been ruled out through injury while Carty comes in to complete the squad of 23 having scored for St. Pat’s to help them reach the FAI Cup Final earlier today.

Ireland head into the game with two wins out of two in qualification having overcome Türkiye and San Marino in Cork last month.
