The Girls in Green are set to face a crucial double-header, first travelling to Gdansk to face Poland at the Gdansk Stadium on Tuesday, April 14 (KO 5pm Irish time), before the return fixture at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, April 18 (KO 3pm).
Following the withdrawal of Bohemians midfielder Aoibhe Brennan, Lily Agg, and Jessie Stapleton due to injury, Ward has now called up Shamrock Rovers' Maria Reynolds, Shelbourne midfielder Aoibheann Clancy, and Sunderland's Jamie Finn.
The call-up marks a first-ever official inclusion in the senior squad for Shamrock Rovers starlet Maria Reynolds. She is joined by fellow SSE Airtricity Women's Premier Division player Aoibheann Clancy, who returns to the international set-up for the first time since March 2025. Clancy made her senior debut in a 4-0 friendly win over Morocco in November 2022.
The squad will report for international duty on Wednesday, April 8 to begin preparations at the FAI National Training Centre for the two vital fixtures. Carla Ward's side will be targeting positive results as they continue their quest for qualification for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027 in Brazil.
Tickets for the home match against Poland at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, April 18, are on sale now via Ticketmaster HERE.
