REPORT | WU17 | Ireland 6-0 North Macedonia

The Ireland Women's Under-17s won their second game of an International Tournament in Italy by claiming a 6-0 victory over North Macedonia.

After beating Slovenia 4-0 in their opening game, Ireland built on that momentum by producing another impressive attacking display that showcased their clever movement and neat link-up play.

Treaty United's Ellen Goggin got the scoring underway before Shamrock Rovers forward Ciara Milton increased the lead for James Scott's team as they quickly assumed control of this game.

Athlone Town ace Abbie Duffy was next to convert in front of goal and then substitute Caelan Bacon made it 4-0 as Ireland proved to be too strong for their opponents.

Chelsea midfielder Tess Finn scored her first goal for Ireland before an own goal wrapped up the scoring on a good way for the WU17s as they pushed through to the Final of the tournament.

Ireland: Lucy Doyle Farrington; Ava Hallinan, Holly O'Hagan, Keelin Comiskey (Amelia Fahey 46), Hailey Twomey (Caelan Bacon 46); Catherine Oliveira, Fiona Poole (Tess Finn 61); Abbie Duffy (Halle Harcourt 71), Ellen Goggin (Sophie Byrne 71), Alex Devoy (Emma Mooney 61); Ciara Milton (Kassie McLoughlin 61).
