The Ireland Women's Under-17s completed a two-game International Friendly series with Cymru by winning 7-1 in the AUL Complex, Dublin.

Having won the first encounter 9-2 in the FAI National Training Centre, the Girls in Green made some changes and had to counteract a tactical switch from their visitors.

Still, James Scott's team showed their attacking flair with Ava Mullins, Madison McGuane and Ella Kelly all scoring one apiece in the first half to give them control of the game.

After the interval, Leah McGrath and Mary Hartofilis extended their lead before they profited from an own goal and Finley Newell wrapped up the scoring.

Scott and his support staff will be pleased by the two performances as they continue to prepare for their UEFA European Championship Qualifiers in November.

Ireland: Jenna Willoughby; Michaela Hand (Heather Loomes 46), Aibhlinn Cotter, Finley Newell, Kate Jones (Abigail Bradshaw 60); Madison McGuane, Aoife Sheridan (Beatrice Silickaite 60); Ava Mullins (Grace Ehringer), Ella Kelly (Emma Gaughran 60), Mary Hartofilis (Maeve Wollmer 60); Leah McGrath (Lily Anne O'Meara 60).
