REPORT | U17 World Cup | Poland claim win in warm-up friendly

The World Cup-bound Ireland Under-17s were defeated 2-0 to Poland in Pinatar, Spain.

A goal shortly after the half-hour mark by Filip Skorb and a second half goal by Jakub Zawadzski was enough for the Polish to earn the win.

The game had been due to take place on Friday but due to weather in the Murcia region the game was postponed until Saturday afternoon. 

Ireland have a quick turn around before the second game of the international window which comes against Switzerland - their final warm-up game ahead of the Under-17 World Cup.
