REPORT | BU15 | Netherlands 1-0 Ireland

The Ireland Boys' Under-15s lost narrowly 1-0 to Netherlands in the second of three International Friendlies in Uden.

There were 10 changes to the starting line-up from the team that lost to the same opponent just 24 hours previous with Shamrock Rovers defender Jamie Jacob holding onto his place.

This was another noteworthy performance from Ireland with Galway United goalkeeper Adam Madaiek conceding just once as the defensive unit in front of him stood firm throughout.

Ireland knitted together some nice patterns of play as they looked to move the ball forward quickly and create goalscoring opportunities, while also being clever by holding their organisational shape off the ball.

Ireland: Adam Madaiek; Ryan Savage, Jack Barden, Jamie Jacob (Robert Morgan 46), Tom Casey; Mate Isakadze, Harry Rehill (Jorunas Jakas 63); Joe Manicle (Ronan Keating 72), Fionn McCormack Crowe, Conor Hudson (Destiny Okharadia 50); Nathan Power (Ben Lyne 50).
