REPORT | BU15 | Ireland suffer narrow defeat to Ukraine

A second half Ukraine goal condemned Ireland Boys Under-15s to a 1-0 defeat in their second UEFA Development Tournament game in Lisbon.

Ireland were looking to bounce back after a 5-0 defeat to hosts Portugal on Wednesday is their final game on 2025.

While the Irish team were dominant for large spells of the game and created chances they went in at half time at 0-0.

It would be a strike on 70 minutes from Shaktar Donetsk’s Boniuk Mykyta that would ultimately win the game for Ukraine.

Ireland return to action on Monday morning when they take on Greece.
