Republic of Ireland U21s will take on Italy U21s in Tallaght Stadium on Friday evening looking for back-to-back home wins in Group F of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers.

It is the first of two exciting games coming up for the U21s in Tallaght Stadium with Sweden coming to town on Tuesday, November 16.

Italy ticket | €10 for adults, €5 for children and €20 for a family ticket (two adults and two children) they are available here or can be purchased at the stadium on the night of the game.


Matchday information: Supporters are encouraged to arrive to the stadium early with gates open from 4pm. Car parking at Tallaght Stadium will be closed to the public with patrons encouraged to park in The Square Shopping Centre.

Team News: Barnsley’s William Hondermarck was a late call-up to the squad, replacing Ryan Johansson. There are no injury doubts with Jim Crawford able to select from a full squad.

Manager Jim Crawford said: “We’ll be going out for the six points in this window. I won’t set-up a team to go out for anything other than a win. The fans will be huge for us in this game. They were great against Luxembourg and I’ve no doubt we’ll see the same support against Italy. It’s a great opportunity for fans to come out and see two talented footballing teams.”
