MU17 | O'Brien names squad for Hungary & Denmark games

Preparations for Ireland Men’s Under-17s Elite Round Qualifiers in March begin this week with friendlies against Hungary and Denmark in Pinatar, Spain.

Head Coach Colin O’Brien has named a squad of 22 for the games with 14 of the players from the EA SPORTS League of Ireland National League.
 
Ireland take on Hungary at Pinatar Arena on Wednesday, February 14 before finishing up their one-week camp with a game against Denmark at the same venue Saturday, February 17.
 
The friendlies will set Ireland up for qualifiers in Portugal next month where the young Boys in Green face the Portuguese, Germany and Croatia as they look to qualify for the U17 EURO Finals in Cyprus this summer.
