Quotes

Ireland Under-21 Head Coach Jim Crawford said: “The players have trained exceptionally well throughout the week. Those that did play on Friday gave me everything, I was pleased to give debut to players and there was no tokenism with that we believed every player who made their debut could contribute and they didn’t look out of place. We looked at the positives from that game [Croatia] they’re a top team who created very little and we limited them to chance. It’s something to build on, now it’s about Qatar, I’m looking forward to it.”
