Latvia confirmed for March international friendly

The Football Association of Ireland is delighted to confirm Latvia will be Ireland's first opponents of 2023 with an international friendly at the Aviva Stadium in March.

Ireland are set to welcome Latvia to Dublin on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, with kick-off at 7.45pm before Ireland begin their UEFA EURO qualifying campaign on Monday, March 27, 2023.

World Cup finalists France will be Ireland's first opponents of the UEFA EURO qualifying campaign, with the Latvia fixture now scheduled as the first match of the two-game window in March.

Stephen Kenny's side will be well supported throughout the campaign with the announcement of a record number of season ticket sales earlier this month, with 23,000 season tickets sold for the 2023 campaign.

Ticket details for the March international window will be confirmed at a later date.
