Larkin called up for WU19 training camp

Abbie Larkin has earned a first call-up to the Republic of Ireland Women's Under-19 squad for a training camp in Dublin.

As preparations begin for their UEFA Women's Under-19 European Championship Elite Round qualifiers in April, Ireland will get together a few days this month.

Head Coach Dave Connell will take a closer look at his players - all of whom are home-based - in a training session and a behind-closed-doors training game.

Shelbourne striker Larkin has been included following her outstanding form with the Ireland WU17s, while Peamount United youngster Michelle Doonan also earns a first call-up.

The trio of Jessie Stapleton, Aoibheann Clancy and Larkin were involved with the Ireland Senior Team at the tail end of 2021, while Ellen Molloy is also part of that set-up but is included here.
