GU16s' squad selected to take on Northern Ireland

The Ireland Girls' Under-16s will travel to Belfast to take on Northern Ireland in an International Friendly on Sunday, October 20th.

Having impressed in two games against Cymru, Head Coach Tom Elmes and his staff will continue to work with this new group of players.

Included in the squad is Treaty United midfielder Madison McGuane - who has already been capped at Women's Under-17 level - as well as Halle Harcourt, Ciara Milton, Eva Loftus, Kassie McLoughlin and Sophie Byrne, who all scored in their recent games.

Both McLoughlin and Byrne are currently on the FAI / Fingal Girls' TY Football & Fitness Course, while just two players are not attached to EA SPORTS League of Ireland Academy clubs in Arklow United goalkeeper Lucy Doyle Farrington and Kells Youths defender Hailey Twomey.
