GU16's squad confirmed for UEFA Development Tournament

The Ireland Girls' Under-16s squad has been selected for the 2025 UEFA Development Tournament that will see them take on Belgium, Finland and Switzerland.

The three games will take place in Eerikkila, Finland with Ireland aiming to build on their impressive start to the year that saw them beat Switzerland twice in International Friendlies.

Head Coach Tom Elmes has assembled a strong squad that includes a number of players who are excelling this season, including Shamrock Rovers defender Keelin Comiskey and Treaty United midfielder Madison McGuane who are featuring regularly in the SSE Airtricity Women's Premier Division.

This GU16 squad have already displayed a lot of attacking flair with forwards Halle Harcourt and Ciara Milton scoring five and four goals at this level respectively, while it has also been proven that goals can come from all areas of the team.

Elmes, and his support staff, will be keen to see their team test themselves against three high quality opponents as they continue their development at international level.
