Flashback | Last competitive goal scored against England in Dublin

Who was the goalscorer in the last competitive match between Ireland and England in Dublin?

It has been a long wait for a competitive match at home against England.

As part of UEFA European Championship qualifying for the 1992 tournament, Ireland faced England at Lansdowne Road in November 1990, months after both sides' impressive performance at the 1990 World Cup.

Jack Charlton v Graham Taylor, England took the lead through David Platt in the second-half before super Tony Cascarino equalised with 10 minutes remaining to secure a 1-1 draw.

A great header but the header was followed by some of the best 'limbs' Lansdowne Road has ever produced from the Irish support, watch the goal on FAI TV.
