Ireland WNT supporters planning to travel to Istanbul for the UEFA Nations League game against Türkiye should take note of the below information.

STADIUM
The game will be played in the Esenler Erok Stadium, which is the home stadium of Erokspor Kemer. The address is: 94/1.Ck.No;4, 34230 Esenler/Istanbul.

The stadium is located on the European side towards northwest Istanbul. Please note that traffic in the city can be quite heavy so allow for plenty of time to arrive at the stadium. 

TRANSPORT
Various bus routes pass close to the stadium, including 31Y, 78, 91E, 97G, 97GE and 146T.  

The Istanbul Kart is highly recommended for public transport. It works on the metro, buses, ferries etc and can be easily topped up. It is available from vending machines at the airport and one card can be used by up to five people. Istanbul has direct flights from Dublin, while there are also various indirect routes. The M11 metro connects to the city, although you will likely have to change metros. The Havaist buses also provide direct links to various points on the European and Asian side.    

TICKETS
This game is not expected to sell out and tickets should be available at the stadium.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please note the emergency number for Türkiye is 112.

It is recommended to have a photo of your passport on your phone and in your email, just in case for emergency. This will aid having replacement travel documents issued.  

The Irish Embassy is located in Ankara at Ugur Mumcu Caddesi No.88, MNG Binasi, A&B Blok, Kat 1, Gaziosmanpasa, Ankara. The opening hours are Monday-Friday 9:00-13:00 & 14:00-17:00.

Irish citizens can enter Turkiye visa free.

Please note that Irish passport holders require a passport valid for a further 150 days prior to entering Türkiye and passport cards will not be accepted for entry.  

Ensure to have appropriate travel insurance in place and note that a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) cannot be used in Türkiye.
