Enfield Celtic launched their Football for All Programme with a fantastic turn out of young players.

The Football For All programme caters for young players with additional needs and provides an opportunity to be part of their local club.

“The club are delighted to provide this programme and we hope the players can become very much part of Enfield Celtic FC,“ said club Chairperson Anne Maher.

FAI Football For All Development Officer Paul Smyth added: “Enfield Celtic FC are a very progressive football club and we are delighted to support their Football For All journey.

"Together with the Meath Sports Partnership we have connected with the local primary school St Mary’s,where we have delivered football coaching sessions to children with additional needs within the school. Many of these children attended the launch day at Enfield."

Enfield become the third Grassroots club in County Meath to develop this fantastic initiative along with East Meath United and Balrath FC.

New players are welcome to attend on Sunday mornings at 10am at Na Fianna Astro Pitch.
