BU16 | Squad named for two friendlies against Finland

Ireland Boys Under-16s Head Coach Paul Osam has named a squad of 20 for a double-header against Finland in Dublin this week.

It is the first match action for the Under-16s since lifting the Victory Shield back in October with the young Boys in Green taking on the Finnish on Wednesday and Friday.

Osam hands first-time call-ups for Waterford’s Bobby Keoghan, Josh Harpur of Bohemians and UCD’s Beh Mahon.

Republic of Ireland Boys Under-16s Squad

Goalkeepers: Darragh Brunton (St. Patrick’s Athletic), George Moloney (Southampton).

Defenders: Danny Burke (Shamrock Rovers), Leighton Dempsey (UCD), Aidan Gabbidon (Malmö FF), Tadgh Prizeman (Shamrock Rovers, Sean Spaight (Dundalk).

Midfielders: Curtis Egan (Bohemians), Richard Ferizaj (Bray Wanderers), Bobby Keoghan (Waterford), Tom McGrath (Cork City), Kian Quigley (St. Patrick’s Athletic), Jason Spelman (St. Patrick’s Athletic), Niall Sullivan (St. Patrick’s Athletic).

Forwards: Joe Byrne (St. Patrick’s Athletic), David Dunne (Cork City), Josh Harpur (Bohemians),  Ben Mahon (UCD), TJ Molloy (Dundalk), Noble Tetteh (Shamrock Rovers).
