Bluebell host Rockmount in FAI Cup preliminary Round

Bluebell United will host Rockmount in the preliminary round of the Extra.ie FAI Cup as the 2022 competition gets underway.

The Extra.ie FAI Cup preliminary round draw was completed at FAI HQ earlier today by former Cork City & Shelbourne player Ollie Cahill and Extra.ie Sport Editor Adam Lacey.

Ahead of the draw, Extra.ie Sports Editor Adam Lacey said, "We at Extra.ie are delighted to be kicking off our fourth year of sponsoring the FAI Cup and covering all the ups and downs of this incredible knock-out competition once again.

"The last few years have not been easy for anyone - and that, of course, includes Irish football fans - but we are very much looking forward to a full competition this year with packed grounds around the country, from the preliminary rounds in a few weeks right up to the Extra.ie FAI Cup final in the Aviva Stadium this November."
