Blue Magic's dominance of Irish futsal was further emphasised at the National Indoor Arena as their cruised to a double digit success over Pro Brazil in Sunday's showdown decider in the FAI Futsal Cup final.

Sinisa Sicar's side were completing a season treble of AUL Cup and League to go alongside the coveted FAI Futsal Cup while at the same time notching a hat-trick of wins in the national competition.

Pro Brazil managed to get on the scoresheet twice but there was no doubting the class and skill of the victors who were impressive throughout with skipper Ian Byrne netting four goals while Victor Calderon claimed the FAI Futsal Man of the Match award.

Blue Magic got the scoring going as early as the third minute with Matheus Lemes netting after a fluid move with Lemes finishing from close in. Gabby Saldahna added a second before Fred Willan pulled one back for Pro Brazil with 12,34 left on the first half clock.

Pro Brazil adopted a five man press employing a fly goalkeeper but that approach was undone when Ian Byrne finished brillianty to an open net from inside his own half with 8.38 remaining and Lemes added his second with 1.25 as the favourites took a commanding 4-1 interval lead.

The game was out of sight with 17.34 of the second period left when Matheus Coleho found the net for a 5-1 advantage as Blue Magic's dominance was finally being reflected on the scoresheet.

Man of the Match Victor Calderon added number six and Gabby Yan Micoski rifled home number seven with 13.50 remaining.

Pro Brazil did pull one back for 7-2 with Jose Andro Da Silva Cruz finishing past Guilherme Cardosa Viana with an angled finish from close in.

From there to the finish however it was all Blue Magic as they turned on the style with an audacious overhead heel lift on the run by Matheus Lemes drawing generous applause from the 250 spectators in attendance.

Oleg Gojan, Victor Calderon and a finishing brace from skipper Ian Byrne completed the job for a more than impressive Blue Magic who also claimed the prize of a place in next season's UEFA Champions League Futsal Cup.

FAI President Gerry McAnaney and FAI Competitions Manager Fran Gavin were on hand to make the presentation to captain Ian Byrne who will now lead his side into Europe for the third season in a row.
