The Annual General Meeting of the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) ratified the re-election of Paul Cooke as President, the election of Dave Moran as Vice President and the re-election of Tony Keohane as Chair of the FAI Board.

In a Extraordinary General Meeting – which took place before the Annual General Meeting – the members of the General Assembly voted in favour of the Association submitting a formal motion to the UEFA Executive Committee requesting the immediate suspension of the Israel Football Association from UEFA Competitions.

In the Annual General Meeting, the members ratified the re-election of Paul Cooke as President, elected Dave Moran as Vice President, approved the re-election of Independent Director Tony Keohane as Chair of the FAI Board and the re-election of Football Directors Tom Browne and Nixon Morton.

The members also ratified the election of Geraldine Nagle as a Football Director and Ciara Carty as an Independent Director to the FAI Board.

At the Meeting, which was held in Dublin, FAI Chief Executive Officer David Courell provided the members with an overview of the Transformation Programme and the Debt Repayment schedule, while also giving a detailed progress report on the 2022-2025 FAI Strategy.

Honorary Life membership of the Association was bestowed on Pat Devlin to recognise his tremendous impact on Irish football as a player, coach, manager, director and advisor.

FAI President Paul Cooke said: “On behalf of the Association, I'd like to welcome Geraldine Nagle and Ciara Carty to the FAI Board and congratulate Dave Moran on his election to the role of Vice President. It is also important to acknowledge the work that both Catherine Guy and Maeve McMahon did to aid the development of our game as they each step down from their roles.

“Also, congratulations to Pat Devlin on becoming an Honorary Life Member. Pat is someone who has been hugely influential in Irish football – on and off the pitch – for over five decades and deserves to be recognised for what he has contributed.”

It was confirmed at the Meeting that Grant Thornton were re-appointed as auditors for 2025.
