2024 REVIEW | WNT

The Ireland Women's National Team competed against some of the best teams in the world in 2024, but ultimately fell short in qualification for EURO 2025.

The year started with an International Friendly away to Italy before hosting Cymru at Tallaght Stadium. Then the qualifying campaign for EURO 2025 took over with games against France, England and Sweden in Group A3 ahead of reaching the Play-Offs, where Ireland faced Georgia and then Cymru.

116,865 fans attended six WNT home games, including 18,399 in a first ever appearance in Páirc Uí Chaoimh, as support for the team continued to grow.

There were debuts for Emily Murphy and Anna Patten, while Julie-Ann Russell returned to the squad following a four-year absence.
