2021 COVID-19 Grassroots Club Support Scheme Process

The Football Association of Ireland has launched the Covid-19 2021 Grassroots Club Support Scheme and is encouraging Grassroots Clubs to register for the scheme via the Expression of Interest process that is currently open.

The scheme has been designed to support Grassroots Clubs with costs and losses caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic that occurred in 2021. Further information on the specific elements that are covered can be found within the Expression of Interest registration form below.

Expression of Interest - click HERE (Form works best on the Google Chrome browser)

The expressions of interests are due before midnight on May 15th, 2022 with the application process then to follow.

An application process will follow the expression of interest registration, and registered clubs will be emailed an application link directly. Clubs seeking support via this scheme are reminded that specific supporting documentation will be required as part of the application process and advise Clubs to begin to gather relevant documents from 2021.

Following the closure of the registration process, the FAI will host workshops that will support Clubs with the requirements of the application process.

If Clubs have any questions regarding the scheme, please contact [email protected]
