The Ireland Women’s Under-17s will start their year with two International Friendlies against Hungary in Spain.

Head Coach James Scott will bring a strong squad of 20 players to the Pinatar Arena to play an opponent who they faced in the same month last year – winning one of the two games.

Led by Treaty United midfielder Madison McGuane, who featured eight times for the WU17s in 2025, the squad also includes 10 players who scored at this level last year.

The two games have been arranged to aid preparation for the UEFA European Championship Round 2 Qualifiers against Sweden (February 27th), Denmark (March 2nd) and Germany (March 5th).
