A second-half goal from Katie O'Reilly helped the Ireland Women's Under-19s to a 1-1 draw with Belgium in the second of two International Friendlies.

After winning the first game 2-0 at the Training Centre of the Royal Belgian FA, Head Coach Dave Connell made several changes to the starting line-up to test out different players.

One of those who came in was goalkeeper Katie Keane after she had been in Georgia with the Ireland Women's Senior Team for the First Leg of their EURO 2025 Qualifying Play-Off.

Even though Keane didn't record a clean sheet here, it was a performance that Connell will have been able to pick many positives from with Lia O'Leary leading by example as captain and others earning their first start at this level.

Shamrock Rovers attacker O'Reilly netted her first goal for the WU19s on 64 minutes and that was a just reward for the good play that Ireland had produced throughout this encounter.

Next up are the Round 1 Qualifiers for the UEFA WU19 European Championships in November as the Girls in Green come up against Bulgaria, Finland and Norway.

Ireland: Katie Keane; Lucy O'Rourke (Aoife Kelly 46), Grace Fitzpatrick Ryan, Niamh Cotter (Kiera Sena 78), Lia O'Leary; Aoibhe Brennan, Eve O'Carroll (Freya Healy 46); Katie O'Reilly (Joy Ralph 73), Katie Lawlee (Jess Fitzgerald 46), Isabel Ryan (Hannah Healy 46); Ceola Bergin (Ellen Dolan 46).
