REPORT | WU17 | Ireland 4-0 Hungary

Three late goals added the gloss to a fine display as the Ireland Women's Under-17s beat Hungary 4-0 in the Pinatar Arena, Spain.

In what was the second of two International Friendlies between the two teams, this was another solid performance from James Scott's team.

An own goal put them ahead after five minutes and they held that advantage until the final 10 minutes when they netted three times to make sure of the victory.

Shamrock Rovers duo Sophie Byrne and Kassie McLoughlin were on target with Byrne scoring on 82 minutes and McLoughlin just one minute later before the latter got her second on 88 minutes.

Over the two games, there were were different goalscorers with McLoughlin converting three times, while 18 players got game-time to aid their preparation for upcoming UEFA EURO qualifiers.
