Preview | FAI Under-17 Cup Final

Preview | FAI Under-17 Cup Final

This Sunday will see an all-Dublin affair between Malahide United and Peamount United in the FAI Under-17s Cup Final.

History will be made either way this weekend with both sides making their first appearances in the cup final at this age grade and both will feel they’ve a chance to bring the cup home to their respective sides of the county.

And the tale of tape for each club makes for a fascinating read. For Malahide, they’ve already gone through seven rounds of the competition just to reach the final and in doing so have conceded just four goals.

For ‘The Peas’ they can take great confidence in their own cup run with last year’s winners Cherry Orchard and last year’s finalists St. Kevin’s FC both dispatched en route to the final.

Both sides will go head-to-head at Home Farm FC at 2pm with admission €5.
