Nadine Conlon appointed to FAI Board as an Independent Director

In a General Meeting, members of the General Assembly ratified the appointment of Nadine Conlon to the Board of the Football Association of Ireland.

Nadine has significant experience working with Boards in the Financial sector and currently serves as Group Company Secretary of a leading insurance company in Ireland. With a track record of strategic governance leadership and expert counsel on all corporate governance and company secretarial matters, she will be a strong addition to the FAI Board.

Nadine's career has given her a deep insight into governance, regulatory compliance and board advisory in complex, highly regulated environments. A Fellow of The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland, Nadine served as President of the Institute in Ireland until November 2025, which reflects her recognised leadership and influence in advancing governance best practice nationally.

Nadine holds an LLB (Hons) in Irish Law, a Master’s in Management and Corporate Governance, Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainability for Business combining legal, governance and strategic management expertise.

FAI President Paul Cooke said: “On behalf of the Association, I'd like to welcome Nadine Conlon to the FAI Board following her ratification. Nadine will bring a combination of legal expertise & governance experience to the role of Independent Director that will make the Board even stronger and help us to best represent everyone involved in Irish football."
