MU19 | Mohan names squad for Bosnia & Herzegovina friendlies

Tom Mohan has named his first Ireland Men’s Under-19s squad of the international season for a friendly double-header against Bosnia & Herzegovina next week.

The Head Coach has announced a 23-man squad for the games in Trebinje on Thursday, September 7 and Saturday, September 9.

The MU19s have been preparing for the upcoming season with a number of homebased training camps as Mohan ran the rule over a number of players heading into the new international season.

Fourteen of the squad currently play in the League of Ireland with a further five having played in the league previously.

The Under-19s play two games in this September window before travelling to Spain next month for friendlies against Spain and the Faroe Islands.

In November they’re in competitive action when they come up against Albania, Slovenia and Belgium in the first round of UEFA European Under-19s qualifiers.
