With over 16,000 tickets already sold, Ireland return to the Aviva Stadium stage aiming for a crucial victory in their quest to qualify for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2027 in Brazil.
Ireland secured an impressive 3–2 win over Poland in Gdańsk on Tuesday night, with goals from Emily Murphy, Katie McCabe and Marissa Sheva. Another win tomorrow would put Ireland in a strong position ahead of a significant international window in June, when they face the Netherlands and France to conclude their qualifying campaign.

Team News
Carla Ward has confirmed that Kyra Carusa has returned to contention for tomorrow’s match against Poland, having recovered from illness that ruled her out earlier in the week. Ward also confirmed that the rest of the squad is fit and available for selection.
Press Conference | Head Coach Carla Ward
“Every game is different, I said that straight after the game, this will be a completely different game. I think they’ll adapt so we’ll have to adapt to what they might have to do as well as what we want to do.
"So look I think we take it one game at a time, we look at what’s in front of us, what we might face and we’ll pick a team that we believe can go win the game.
“It’s a good headache to have. It really is. And it’s a good headache that I’ve got 24 available to choose from as well.
“Abbie did really well. We know what Abbie Larkin can do. We’re blessed with options all over the park so it’s a really good position to be in as a head coach.”
Press Conference | Captain Katie McCabe
“I love coming in, seeing the girls and training with this team. We are such an amazing group and I think there is lots still to come from us.
“That’s what makes me excited; being on this journey under Carla since she came in.
“Players have really picked up form and cemented a place in the team. I’m just concentrating on these games and seeing out the rest of the season.”
