Ireland WNT supporters planning to travel to Heraklion for the UEFA Nations League game against Greece should take note of the below information.

STADIUM
The game will be played in the Stadio Theodoros Vardinogiannis in Heraklion - this is the home stadium of OFI Crete. Please note there are two stadiums in Heraklion so make sure you go to the correct one. It is also known locally as Yedi Kule. 

TRANSPORT
The stadium is easily reached by public transport. Heraklion bus services stop at Sofokli Venizelou Kantanou and Kamina stops nearby - these include routes 6,10 & 12 from the airport. Also 7,8 and 11 among others. 

If arriving via Heraklion airport, the city centre can be reached by taxi and should cost approx. €19 (day-time) - €22 (night-time). Cheaper options from the airport include the bus with 6,11 & 12 being popular routes to hotels.   

TICKETS
This game is not expected to sell out and tickets should be available at the stadium.

Please note the emergency number in Greece is 112.

It is recommended to have a scan of your passport on your phone and in your email in case it gets lost or stolen. This will aid having replacement travel documents issued.
