Deadline looming to be host venue for MiWadi FAI Football Camps

Grassroots clubs are being reminded that the deadline to become a host MiWadi FAI Football Camps host venue is looming.

195 venues across Ireland have signed up to host FAI Football Camps which is in its 30th year.

More than 13,000 children will take part in Ireland’s biggest summer football programme with the numbers growing by the week.

The camps are hosted throughout Ireland and the FAI is opening up applications for summer 2026 with clubs able to host mainstream, girls-only, goalkeeper or Football For All camps.

This year’s FAI Football Camps will run from June 29th to August 21st and venues can choose hosting dates throughout that eight-week period.

To apply clubs must have achieved the FAI Club Mark Entry Level award as a minimum requirement.

The FAI’s Football Camp support team will be on hand to advise clubs looking to host camps including:

  • How to be a host venue
  • Recruiting Coaches
  • Advertising camps
  • Financial Management of Camps
