Ireland U21s set for biggest crowds of campaign
Jim Crawford's U21s play two crucial games on the June Bank Holiday Weekend taking on Bosnia & Herzegovina on Friday, June 3 (KO 7.30pm) and Montenegro on Monday, June 6 (KO 5pm).
More than 3,000 fans have secured their seat for each qualification game as Ireland fans look to back the Young Boys in Green on their path to becoming the first Irish U21s side to qualify for a European Championship finals.
Back-to-back wins over Sweden have left the Under-21s with their qualification destiny in their hands but must overcome tough opposition in Tallaght followed by a trip to Italy on June 14.
Speaking about the uptake in tickets, U21 Manager Jim Crawford, said: "No fans get behind their teams quite like the Irish fans and to be a few weeks out from two big games in Tallaght Stadium and to already have thousands backing us is a massive boost for everyone involved with the U21s.
"Since the beginning of the campaign the players and staff have spoken about achieving something special by qualifying for the European Championships and we want the fans with us, side-by-side, as we look to do that."
With the two home qualifying games scheduled during the SSE Airtricity League mid-season break there's an opportunity for more fans to travel to Tallaght for the games.
Crawford added: "We've seen amazing crowds in the League of Ireland this season with some unbelievable atmospheres and for fans of our clubs who haven't had the opportunity to come to our games this season, this is your chance. This is a young and exciting group of players and I know they will respond to a big crowd so the message to the fans is, get yourself down to Tallaght Stadium, get behind the boys because I've no doubt your support could help us get over the line."
There are a number of ticket options available for fans to choose from.
Each individual game is priced at €10* for adults, €5* for children and €20* for a family ticket.
A duo ticket secures a seat for both games and is priced at €15* for adults, €8* for children with a family ticket (two adults, two children) available for €30*.*Please note Ticketmaster service charges apply.
