WU19 & WU17 discover Round 2 opponents

The path to this summer's UEFA Women's Under-19 & Under-17 European Championships is becoming a little clearer for both the Republic of Ireland teams in contention.

Dave Connell's WU19s were drawn into Group A7 in League A after the Round 2 draw was made for the 2021/22 EUROs. They will come up against Czech Republic, France and Greece in April.

A venue for the mini tournament to take place has yet to be decided and that is the same for James Scott's WU17s, who will meet Finland, Iceland and Slovakia in Group A1 in League A.

Both teams will kickstart their preparations for those crucial qualifiers with training camps in February as they set the target of reaching their finals tournaments in Czech Republic (WU19) and Bosnia & Herzegovina (WU17).
