The Republic of Ireland Women’s Under-17 squad has been confirmed for the upcoming UEFA Women's Under-17 Round 1 Qualifiers set to take place in Albania.

The 20-player squad will depart for Albania on Friday, September 25th, to begin their qualifying campaign. Ireland have been drawn into a group alongside Azerbaijan, Kosovo and the host nation, Albania.

The campaign opens on September 28th against Azerbaijan at the Egnatia Stadium in Rrogozhinë, followed by a clash with Albania in Durrës on October 1st. The Girls in Green will conclude the window on October 4th with a fixture against Kosovo.

The squad features a strong representation from across the League of Ireland, with Shamrock Rovers providing seven players, while players from Athlone Town, Bohemians, Cork City, Shelbourne, Sligo Rovers, Treaty United and Wexford are also included.
