Under-15 & Under-16 squads announced for Netherlands friendlies

Two Irish international teams will head to the Netherlands next week when the Boys’ Under-15s and Boys’ Under-16s squads travel to Uden.

The BU15s take on the Netherlands over three matchdays on Tuesday (March 3), Wednesday (March 4) and Friday (March 6). The BU16s then face their Dutch counterparts on the following Sunday (March 8) – all games will take place at UDI’19 FC.

FAI Technical Director Shane Robinson said: “The four games across the two age groups will be an excellent challenge for our young players and a real test for our teams against quality opposition.

"We have a great relationship with the KNVB and many of our underage teams over the years have faced the Netherlands and it is always a high-standard of game between our two countries.

"The week will play a big part in the players’ development and we thank the KNVB for hosting us for the upcoming week."
