A goal in either half helped the Ireland Men's Under-19s record a 2-1 win over Slovenia in an International Friendly in Kranjska Gora.

Charles Akinrintoyo and Ramon Msrtos both scored their second goals of this three-game series to seal a deserved victory over the host nation.

After beating Faroe Islands and drawing with Qatar, Ireland wanted to finish on a high and that is exactly what they did after UCD's Akinrintoyo put them ahead on 12 minutes.

Martos, who came off the bench as a substitute, got the winner on 72 minutes to cap off a good performance and wrap up a productive internaitonal window.
